1. Hướng nghiên cứu chính: 

• Xử lý môi trường (Environmental Treatments): nghiên cứu các loại vật liệu 2D (graphene), vật liệu nano (nanomaterials) và vật liệu có nguồn gốc từ các phế phẩm nông nghiệp (biomass-based materials), vật liệu composite và aerogel được ứng dụng xử lý các chất ô nhiễm trong nước.

• Điện hóa và pin năng lượng mặt trời (Electrochemistry and Solar cells): nghiên cứu chế tạo các điện cực, các quá trình điện hóa và chế tạo pin năng lượng mặt trời.
