On December 26, 2024, at Hall 10F of Ton Duc Thang University, Awarding ceremony of the Medal "For the cause of education", Certificates of Merit toOutstanding Teachers, and the Decision for the Reappointment of Associate Professors in 2024 took place.
Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nhon's research project, titled “Development of an artificial neural networks phase-field method for computational brittle and ductile fracture in advanced materials” has been approved for funding by the National Foundation for Science & Technology Development (NAFOSTED) starting in 2025.
On December 23, 2024, Prof. Dr. Julius Kaplunov will deliver a lecture in Room A104 on the topic: "A Dynamic Theory for a Thin Functionally Graded Plate." This lecture will provide in-depth insights into the theoretical framework and applications of functionally graded materials in structural dynamics.
On December 11-12, the AUN-QA International Conference 2024 (AUN-QA IC) took place at Ton Duc Thang University, gathering nearly 400 speakers, coordinators, experts, delegates, and administrators from 153 universities and educational institutions in the ASEAN region and around the world.
On December 4, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the inauguration ceremony for the Hanoi Office of the Institute for Advanced Technology. The event marked a significant milestone in the university's efforts to expand its scientific research activities and develop high-quality human resources nationwide.
