On December 4, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the inauguration ceremony for the Hanoi Office of the Institute for Advanced Technology. The event marked a significant milestone in the university's efforts to expand its scientific research activities and develop high-quality human resources nationwide.

We are honored to welcome Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Xuan Sang to the Institute for Advanced Technology. He is a highly experienced scientist with significant contributions in atomic physics, material fabrication, and structural analysis.

On July 18, 2024, Dr. Ngo Son Tung, representing Ton Duc Thang University, signed an MOA with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Hong Minh from the Institute of Natural Products Chemistry, under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

On May 14, 2024, according to the authorization of the President of Ton Duc Thang University, Dr. Ngo Son Tung (Director of the Institute of Advanced Technology (IAST)) signed a MOA with Prof. Dr. Jim-Tong Horng, representing the College of Medicine at Chang Gung University, Taiwan.

On July 3, 2024, the 3rd International Conference on Advanced Smart Materials and Structures 2024 (ASMaS 2024), co-organized by Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia), and the University of Wollongong (Australia), was held at TDTU.

At 9:00 AM on October 17, 2023, IAST Institute held a scientific meeting in Meeting Room C. Prof. Jim-Tong Horng from Chang Gung University, Taiwan, introduced academic programs and scholarship opportunities for students, postgraduates, and doctoral candidates at Ton Duc Thang University.

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Hab Le Khanh Chau has recently been appointed as a member of the editorial board of the international journal Mathematics and Mechanics of Solids. This journal is indexed in the Web of Science/Scopus database with an impact factor of 2.6.

In the 2023 ranking of the world's most influential scientists, by Professor John PA Ioannidis and colleagues from Stanford University (USA) on the Scopus database and published by Elsevier Publishing on October 5, Dr. Thái Hoàng Chiến from Tôn Đức Thắng University proudly stands as one of the 47 representatives from Vietnam.
