Congratulations Dr. Thai Hoang Chien - Vietnamese scientist was awarded the EABE Best Paper Awards 2023

We are honored to congratulate Dr. Thai Hoang Chien - one of two Vietnamese scientists awarded the EABE Best Paper Awards 2023 for the outstanding article with the most scientific impact over the past three years of the journal Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements (EABE).

Dr. Chien is one of the faces for many years on the list of 100.000 leading scientists in the world and is a top 1% global scientist in the field of Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace.

Research by the group of Dr. Chien has proposed a new method to support the calculation of structures using composite materials, stiffening structures, and applications in the field of computational mechanics. Specifically, proposes a stable adjustment of the meshfree method to calculate complex reinforced structures. This new method helps increase stability in calculations, minimizing disturbances and large errors common in traditional methods. These results are directly applied to structural calculations in construction, calculating stability, impact and shell durability of cars, airplanes, and high-speed train hulls. The research is also applied to the calculation of most structures using reinforced composite materials, helping to simplify the process, reduce calculation costs, and have high accuracy and reliability. This award-winning work is not only required to have breakthrough scientific content but also must make a significant impact on global science. We are confident that this important milestone will serve as a springboard for Dr. Chien to continue his contributions to the scientific community.
