Nghiên cứu tổng hợp và phát triển các vật liệu tiên tiến như vật liệu nano, bán dẫn, khung hữu cơ-kim loại, phức chất và composite; tập trung vào phân tích tính chất lý hóa, cơ chế phản ứng và ứng dụng trong các lĩnh vực như năng lượng tái tạo, y sinh, xúc tác, dệt nhuộm và xử lý ô nhiễm môi trường.
