Welcome Dr. Subramanian Ramanathan to the Institute for Advanced Study in Technology (IAST) – Ton Duc Thang University

The IAST is honored to officially welcome Dr. Subramanian Ramanathan to the Institute. Dr. Subramanian Ramanathan obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, India. With 9 years of in-depth research experience, Dr. Ramanathan has authored nearly 30 international publications in prestigious journals and holds two patents, a book chapter, along with numerous awards at international scientific conferences.

Main Research Interests

• Biomass derived carbon synthesis 
• Eco-friendly catalysts synthesize 
• Wastewater treatment 
• Catalytic and Photocatalytic degradation of antibiotics 
• Toxicological assessment 

With his solid professional background and dedication to science, Dr. Ramanathan is expected to contribute actively to the Institute’s research, training, and international collaboration efforts.
