Assoc. Prof. Dr. Valeriy Arkhincheev presents about "The anomalous diffusion of particles in the disordered medium: capture on traps and control of processes by external fields, phase transitions in the problem induced by the electric field"

Abstract:

Investigation of the problem of the capture of particles on traps, diffusing in the fractal systems: the new temporal asymptotic and control of these processes by the external electric fields. The diffusion on fractals has an anomalous subdiffusion character and as result all laws, described the problem: from temporal asymptotic of survival probability to field dependencies have new forms, the induced electric field phase transitions
Tasks:
1. The solution of the fractional order diffusion equation with absorbed boundary conditions
2. The solution of fractional order equation with drift – the change of the temporal asymptotic in a weak and strong electric fields
3. The study of  the phase transition in the problem of the capture on traps in electric field and numerical simulations
Expected results: the development of the analytical theory of the capture of particles on traps on fractals , establishment of the new temporal dependencies of particle survival probability.
