Welcome Dr. Subramanian Ramanathan to the Institute for Advanced Study in Technology (IAST) – Ton Duc Thang University

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Subramanian Ramanathan as a member of the IAST Institute. Dr. Subramanian Ramanathan obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, India. As a promising young Ph.D, Dr. Ramanathan has authored nearly 30 international publications in prestigious journals and holds two patents, a book chapter, along with numerous awards at international scientific conferences.

Main Research Interests

• Biomass derived carbon synthesis 
• Eco-friendly catalysts synthesize 
• Wastewater treatment 
• Catalytic and Photocatalytic degradation of antibiotics 
• Toxicological assessment 

With his strong professional background and dedication to scientific contribution as a young PhD, Dr. Ramanathan is expected to contribute actively to the Institute's research activities and international collaborations.
