Biography & Research Vision

Dr. Le Duy Manh graduated in Physics–Biology from National Central University, Taiwan (2014). He worked at the Institute of Physics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (2014–2017) and Duy Tan University (2017–2024), and has been a researcher at the Institute for Advanced Study in Technology (IAST), Ton Duc Thang University since 12/2024.

His research focuses on simulation and data analysis of complex systems: (i) crystalline materials – X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS/EXAFS), thermal-disorder and anharmonic effects, and the optical and electronic properties of perovskites and quantum dots; (ii) biological systems – modelling and simulation of proteins using Monte Carlo and molecular dynamics, and control of cardiac arrhythmias; (iii) time-series data analysis (cardiac, respiratory, neural, economic). Key methods include nonlinear dynamics, statistical physics, Monte Carlo/molecular dynamics simulation, first-principles calculation and statistical data analysis.

Long-term vision: to develop interdisciplinary computational and data-driven methods that connect physics, materials science and biomedicine.
